About Convention Notes

Convention Notes is a small information site about conventions and the people who attend them. Our focus is on practical preparation, event formats, and the everyday details that are easy to miss when planning a visit.

We use the word convention broadly, covering professional gatherings, fan events, association meetings, and similar organized occasions. These events serve different audiences, so advice that suits one may need adjusting for another. We explain those differences rather than assuming every convention works the same way.

Our aim is to offer readable guidance without making a simple outing sound like a major project. Event policies can change, and the organizer's current instructions should always take precedence over general advice found here.
